Caveat 3
There are restrictions on the minimum thickness of the stainless steel, PVC-U and GRP pipes for them to work with Viking Johnson flexible couplings. Consult Viking Johnson for further guidance.
Caveat 4
While Viking Johnson has tested and approved the use of MaxiFit on gas, please verify that the network owner sanctions the use of the fitting for your intended application.

On-site Pressure Testing Capability
MaxiCap enables on-site pressure testing by converting the product into a sealed cap-end configuration, allowing both testing and blanking operations. The assembly requires appropriate external support to prevent movement under pressure, ensuring stability and safe test execution.
Universal Pipe Connections
MaxiCap End caps can seal plain-ended pipes across a wide range of outside diameters and materials, including steel, ductile iron, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement.
Pressure Performance
All MaxiCap products are tested to 24 bar (water) and 9 bar (gas), supporting working pressures of 16 bar (water) and 6 bar (gas). This ensures reliable sealing performance across demanding applications.

Dual Purpose
The MaxiCap end cap fits inside the end ring to the MaxiFit and can be drilled and tapped to form an outlet (up to 2” depending on size).
Optimised Gasket Design

Excellent Corrosion & Damage Resistance
