Due to the characteristics of PE pipe, Viking Johnson does not recommend the use of repair clamps on this pipe material.
Caveat 2
EasiTee – RingSeal is not designed to accommodate / resist the loads from the under pressure drilling equipment, which needs to be supported externally during the operation to drill into the main. In addition, the valve and branch pipework needs to be adequately supported to ensure none of the dead / live loads are imposed in the branch outlet in the EasiTee – RingSeal.

Fabricated Steel Branch Connection
EasiTee – RingSeal is designed for DN350–DN1200 pipelines. It incorporates a compression gasket that seals directly around the outlet cut into the host pipe. This configuration provides a reliable, pressure-tight interface without requiring full-circumference welding or heavy fittings. The design supports efficient installation and reduces overall system weight.
Application & Performance
The EasiTee – RingSeal system is optimised for steel and ductile iron pipelines, where its lighter construction and gasket-based sealing offer cost and handling advantages. It is also suitable for cast iron pipelines when the flanged outlet is less than 70% of the host pipe diameter. This ensures proper sealing performance while maintaining structural integrity.

Corrosion Protection
The sleeve or body are fully coated in Black Rilsan Nylon 11 which has excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, weathering and chemicals as well as good thermal stability and flexibility to accommodate for rough site handling. It is WRAS listed.
