Caveat 1
Due to the characteristics of PE pipe, Viking Johnson does not recommend the use of repair clamps on this pipe material.
Caveat 2
When installing a repair clamp on pipes DN350 & over installation is easier if the fitting has a small outlet to release the pressure while tightening the bolts. Hence, for sizes DN350 and over Viking Johnson only offers these as EasiTap.
Caveat 3
EasiTap are not suitable for use on heating systems with fluctuating temperatures.

Simple Tapping Repair Solution
Avoids costly shutdowns
EasiTap has a threaded tapping outlet (off-take port) engineered to create a new branch connection or attach service lines without interrupting pipeline operation. It enables controlled fluid extraction or system expansion while maintaining pipeline integrity, eliminating the need for shutdowns or cutting into the existing line.
Engineered for under pressure repairs
EasiTap DN50 to DN300 are supplied in a two-half configuration with self-retaining bolts, which minimises bolt loss during installation. Using selective tightening of the bolts, operatives can realign pipes with circumferential breaks that have separated in service.
Permanent Sealing Performance
EasiTap delivers a permanent, leak-tight seal even on heavily corroded pipe surfaces. Their 100% circumferential EPDM ‘Waffle’ gasket accommodates both longitudinal and circumferential cracks. The WRAS-approved EPDM gasket supports 16 bar working pressure and 24 bar site test pressure.
Wide Tolerance Range
EasiTap covers multiple pipe materials of the same nominal bore. This reduces stockholding requirements and simplifies inventory management.
High-strength Construction
Using ductile/malleable iron or steel half housings, optimised through modern design techniques to reduce raw material use, EasiTap provides full-length support, restoring cracked pipes to its original strength.
Ease of Installation
All products can be installed under pressure and in any weather. EasiTap includes self-retaining bolts and the Installation requires no specialist tools just a torque wrench to verify correct bolt loading.
Corrosion Protection
All cast components are coated in Black Rilsan Nylon 11, providing excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, weathering and chemicals, while remaining flexible enough to withstand rough site handling. An optional stainless-steel bolt upgrade offers enhanced corrosion resistance and extended service life.
