Caveat 1
Due to the characteristics of PE pipe, Viking Johnson does not recommend the use of repair clamps on this pipe material.
Caveat 2
EasiClamp are not suitable for use on heating systems with fluctuating temperatures.
Caveat 3
While hinge means installation time is quicker, with only two bolts there is limited scope to re-align fractured pipe making this more suitable for pinhole corrosion, impact damage and longitudinal fractures.

Unique Hinged Design for Under Pressure Repairs
The EasiClamp (Hinged) is available for pipe sizes DN80, DN100 and DN150. It uses two connected halves that fully open, allowing rapid placement over the pipe. Once positioned, the halves close under their own weight and are secured by self-retaining bolts, eliminating the need to manually align separate clamp sections.
Permanent Sealing Performance
EasiClamp (Hinged) delivers a permanent, leak-tight seal even on heavily corroded pipe surfaces. Their 100% circumferential EPDM ‘Waffle’ gasket accommodates both longitudinal and circumferential cracks. The WRAS-approved EPDM gasket supports 16 bar working pressure and 24 bar site test pressure.

EasiClamp (Hinged) covers multiple pipe materials of the same nominal bore. This reduces stockholding requirements and simplifies inventory management.
High Strength Construction

However, with only two bolts, the clamp offers limited realignment capability, making it best suited for pinhole corrosion, impact damage and longitudinal fractures rather than complex pipe breaks. Installation requires no specialist tools just a torque wrench to verify correct bolt loading.

Ease of Installation
The two halves are hinged, fully opening to permit quick and easy fitting on the pipe. There are no pins which removes any risk from bimetallic corrosion.
Self Locating Bolts
Patented self retaining bolts not only prevent the loss of components in the trench but also self locate allowing blind assembly. The double locking mechanism automatically locks into position once the product is fully wrapped around the pipe allowing the operator to use both hands to position over the leak.
Corrosion Protection
All cast components are fully coated in Black Rilsan Nylon 11 which has excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, weathering and chemicals as well as good thermal stability and flexibility to accommodate for rough site handling.
High Strength
The strength of the ductile iron housings will provide permanent support and seal around the pipe.
